CAST & CREW BIOS
The open call for headshots brought in
well over 200 entries from across the country. With the script
calling for a full spectrum of actors of different genders,
ethnicities and ages, very specific character profiles were
posted on the film.org website along with psychological profiles
to help the actors prepare for their auditions.
After
considering the hundreds of applicants for each role, candidates
were contacted via email or phone and auditions were held in
PA in November of 2007. Over 100 actors were auditioned for
the 2 lead and 6 supporting lead roles.
Callbacks
were not an issue. We were working with-in a time frame regarding
our main soundstage and had to start shooting the week after
final casting decisions were made. After an intensive review
period the selected actors were contacted, congratulated and
the talented cast of Harts Ridge was formed
.

Gene
is Philadelphia based actor, and has trained at the Wilma Theater
School, The Actors Center, The Asolo Conservatory in FL, and received
a Bachelor of Arts in Theater at Temple. Gene has worked on films
such as: Two Bits with Al Pacino, Blow Out, The Mind, On Common
Ground, Peace and Quiet, Amy's Journey, Death Mask, and the list
goes on. Gene has an incredibly extensive background in Theater
and Children's Theater. To name a few: Romeo & Juliet, Immigrants,
The Infidel, Death of a Salesman, The Smoking Car, Much Ado About
Nothin', The Crucible, The Rivals and the list goes on. Gene is
trained in hand to hand combat, Rapier & Dagger, Broadsword,
and firearms. |

MASTIO RICE - Sage Hart |
| Is
an Easton, PA native, received a B.A. in Theatre and a Minor in
Vocal Performance from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA., and an
M.F.A. in Acting from the Goodman School of Drama/DePaul University,
Chicago, IL. She has done numerous film and theater work across
the country. Recent films: "Riverside", “The Abbey
of Thelema”, "Brutal Massacre: A Comedy" (Starring
David Naughton and Brian O’Halloran). Recent Theater: “The
Dining Room”, Ethel McCormack in "Footloose",

He's done DR Pepper Commercials, Music Videos with Howard Stern,

Fran
is a Philadelphia local. He recenty had a role in "Rocky
Balboa", and has been cast in films such as: "Attendance",
"It's about the 2nd Coming", and "Grease".
Fran has been featured on Superbowl and Acadamy Awards specials,
and commercials. Studied with Joe Tremaine, Lucas Jazz Center,
Falcon Studios, and John Barth Studios. Fran is a US Navy Veteran
and in the NJ Army National Gual. He's trained with Chuck Norris,
rides horses, motorcycles, he's a physical trainer and a Chaplain
at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Back home he's a
caring father. Fran has an E.Ed. Kinesiology from Temple, and
is the author of "Easy steps of Self Defense" - published
by McGraw-Hill, and "Wisdom for the Warrior" - IBS,
2006.

few years playing diverse roles both dramatic and comedic. He
has played a disillusioned priest in Gods of Hellfire, a mafia
boss in Dead Lock and an abusive father in Visitor in the Dark.
Ted has studied with Mike Lemon at Mike Lemon Casting in Philadelphia
and at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster PA. When he’s not
working on a film or working to survive you will most likely find
him in his swimming pool or heading down the road
on his Harley.

He was in the Pilot for "The Verdict" which shot at
City Hall in Philly, Wokerd on Llifetime TV in Philadelphia,
has done extensive supporting roles for Prime Time, The Philadelphia
Park Casino, supporting actor in M. Night's The Happening".
He also worked on "Rocky Balboa" as a high roller
in Madnalay Bay Casino, shot in Las Vegas Nevada, and "Can
It Be Love" shot in FL. Ruben speaks fluent spanish, plays
latino
or Amneican roles, and likes his toys; A 75' Chevy Corvette

was Born and raised in Beijing, the capital of China. Obtained
an engineering degree at the University of Toronto, Canada. His
day job: A professional telecommunication engineer in Philadelphia,
USA. Kevin was also in Yanglin's Oranges, which won Derek Freese
Award of 2008. In his spare time, Kevin practices Aikido, rides
a Yamaha Maxim and plays tennis. Kevin is also a home gormet cook.
His favorite ethnic food is Chinese, and hopes to continue acting
in his spare time.

reflect the late sixtys. He fit like glove when it came to being

Kyle
Waldbuesser owns and operates Kdub Video Production located in
Philadelphia. He graduated from High Point University with a degree
in media communications and has over 10 years of experience in
production. Kyle started his carrier as an editor and director,
but moved behind the camera as a cameraman in recent years. He
directs, edits and shoots documentaries, commercials, corporate
events and indy films. Without Kyle, this production wouldn't
have gotten of the ground.

graduating with a BA in film production and Hispanic Studies
from Syracuse University, Matt worked for a short while in New
York as a grip before moving to Spain where he lived for two
years completing an MA in Spanish Literature from Middlebury
College and working as a sound assistant in film and TV. A PhD
in Hispanic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania brought
him to Philadelphia, where he likewise continued to pursue his
interest in production. He is currently working as associate
producer and assistant editor on various documentaries.

Productions and Japanese TV. From big budget projects to low-budget
independent endeavors, Mike Harvey & Temporal Distortions
F/X will give you everything you imagined and then continue on
to exceed your expectations. Having Mike work on this film was

McCarthy is a self-employed journalist whose travel photography
(and stories) have appeared in The Washington Post and Acura Style,
among others. She was a winner of PCPI Photo Image in 2007 and
exhibited at the Nexus Gallery as well as in group shows with
husband Mike Tyler. They share a darkroom, house, and Fred the
cat.

comes from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Studying and effecting
from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Bradley Academy for the
Visual Arts, and Art Institute of Portland all of which majoring
in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production.
Traveling, studying
from different schools, the learning process for him is never
ending. He has the love and passion for film, cinematography,
editing, visual arts, traveling, and sports. He now resides
in the tropical islands of Cebu, Philippines working for Bigfoot

defunct Early Morning Music. Rare copies of the DJ Culver project
'Rattle' exist but fire ripped through Early Morning Studios in
2006
sending DJ Culver and Early Morning Music underground. Loftus
continues to work out of Philadelphia with several new music video
projects on the way.

met Henry at Sam Ash Music in King of Prussia, started talking
about audio and boom mics and Boom! A great sound engineer entered
the realm of Harts ridge. He worked on some of the most complicated
sets of the film. Henry started with video and in sound crews
in Indian Valley Middle School in the Souderton Area School District,
in 1997 as a cameraman into Junior High school at Indian Crest,
and focused mainly on sound. He has technical expertise in computers
and multimedia. Out of high school in 2003 he started to DJ and
became involved with independent film, FOH with local bands, and
started his own DJ company called Teknikool Productions mainly
applying himself to sound reinforcement, live and studio recording,
and leads the industry with his high standards. |

Insik
hails from Lansdale, PA and has been working on films in the Philadelphia
area for years. He has worked on the Superkid Production of "Avenger",
"Bird in Flight", and "Hired Help", and several
music videos. Insik was an intern at Mitlas Productions, and a
casting assistant with Mystic Productions in association w/ ABC
casting 2008 season of "The Mole". Insik was also an
assistant editor for Backseat Conception Production. Last January
he drove out into the snow and black ice on the highway for Harts
Ridge at 6AM for the gun range scene. That day our fill-in camerman
hit the ice walking to his car, cracked his skull & wound
up in the hospital. Neddless to say,
Insik was early & waiting the the door.
